So how many coins will this cost?

I couldn’t be any prouder or happier for my son. I may have to sell a kidney or some coins to pay for it, but hey, it’s all good!
And to keep it coin related, post a coin that you’re proud and happy to own!

No coins. It's priceless!
Congrats!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Congratulations to both of you!!
My niece was accepted at Cornell last year, but deferred for a year (why attend Cornell online only?), so she will start in 2021.
My only experience was our dept chair was from Cornell (Chem E), and he was one tough bird. I still have nightmares about finding out right before graduation that I failed one of his courses lol!
Oh about $75K per years worth. But it will set your son up for life! Congrats! When you are ready to sell, I am a buyer!
Best, SH
Excellent!! Best of luck to your son.... I hope you can keep most of your coins...
Cheers, RickO
Whatever the cost, it will be worth it. Congrats to you and your son!
You must be proud! New York has some of the finest community colleges around!

As many as it takes. Congratulations.
My boss is a Cornell grad and one of the sharpest business minds I've encountered in my industry. Congrats to you and your son.

I have to agree with this. They should not be charging full rates for online only classes and I'm sure it's not nearly as educational as in person classes.
Beautiful campus.

Congrats! Beautiful area in the summer. That was one of the grad schools my daughter was accepted to (she eventually chose Caltech). She told me they have a wines and wine tasting class there that is one of the most popular classes on campus. What's he going to study?

Used to live near Ithaca. Lots of stuff to do when you visit the kid. Finger Lakes, great hiking, wineries, Corning Museum of Glass is only 45 min away (to keep it coin related, the museum has a nice collection of 1890s Coin Glass) Any thoughts on a prospective major?
Cornell is a great school. Congrats to both you and your son!
They have great food too thanks to the Hotel School! Not something all schools can claim!
Gorgeous coin too! If we were 100 years ago, you could have that coin engraved with his name, date and congratulations message
Make sure to talk to the financial aid office about possible grants etc. That can save a bundle!

Congratulations! Just think of the nursing home he’ll be able to put you in with a degree from Cornell!
All kidding aside, you should be very proud of him. It’s a fine testament of his upbringing too.
That's awesome. Congrats to you and your son. It takes years of hard work (I'm sure for the both of you) to get into a place like that. To do that at a young age is commendable and I'm sure he'll have tons of success while he's there and after he graduates.
all the best to him. thats one thing they cake from you is a good education make it count
A wonderful achievement and a proud moment for Dad! Congratulations Dave!!
Oh, yeah ... and since mine have pretty much quit spending Dad's money now, I'll be happy to consider helping you finance this great endeavor by taking a few of those Busties off your hands!

My son applied early decision and was very fortunate to get in, considering there were something like over 9000 applicants.
He’s a brilliant kid...you know, a chip off the old block
He loves and plays piano, likes to compose music, and is a genius in math. I’m thinking he’ll do something with music, perhaps music theory.
We are all still very excited about his acceptance!
Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!
Dave
Congratulations!
Obviously, you already know Cornell is a terrific school. I hope he enjoys it greatly and look forward to your PM offering me that wonderful 1839-O RE half.

Congrats. This makes me smile.
Congrats! In a few years I'll be sending my first off to college.
Congrats Doc!
Congratulations Dr.D!
I share your joy, on Thursday my oldest finished her last class and will be graduating Magna cum Laude from Drew.
My youngest has been accepted to all the schools she applied to, so she has to make a choice soon. She likes Bryn Mawr, or Brown if she wants to do the Ivy thing.
And I also may need to sell your kidney or your coins to afford it all, I hope you don't mind.
Congratulations! A fine school in a beautiful location.

Better add bank roll searching and parking lot searches for coins.
Congratulations to you both!!
I'm really glad that I don't have to decide between that 39 o and any body parts.
Congrats to @drddm and son.

But it’s worth it.
Congrats!
Congrats! No worries, you'll make it work. When my son was accepted to Princeton it was pretty daunting, but he is in his Junior year and things are going pretty smoothly. I won't let him know that I congratulated a Cornell student! A good friend is a Cornell alumni and he and my son have a good natured rivalry.
Congrats! I'm sure she'll be successful no matter which way she goes!
Congrats! I believe they have a great management program...
Congrats. There will be some “hidden surprise “ costs so if this is your first “sending your kid to college” experience expect them. Good school and a degree from there should pay handsomely.
Your a temporary custodian of the coins you own, but your children's education is priceless. My 24 year old daughter graduated with her Bachelor's degree in education this morning.
Congratulations to your son! You can get PLUS loans to cover the full cost of attendance and pay those back later. That would obviate the need to sell off anything in this awful market.
That's just dang cool. I'd be as proud as you are, @drddm.
I've made a list of your bust halves I want. It should cover his freshman year. I don't think either of us can afford the next three.
