I have no idea how the Puzzle Palace, aka THE MINT. thought process, much less the catalog algorithm, works. My "Refresh" guess was just that, a wild a** guess.
I did get what I wanted as posted much earlier, could have been the first order number posted,

Yep I had the gold in my cart and it just kept screwing up and by the time like others it was sold out. The silver the same thing was happening than all of a sudden it was not in my cart anymore and checked my email and sure enough the order went thru, Stupid................

Just finally confirmed order on the silver. Again as I did with the 2019 S ERP had to manually enter my card information. Crashed twice when I used a saved card. As soon as I typed my card in it went through.

Just got the Silver:
Using saved info crashes it. You need to manually type everything in. That's the only way. Note: It'll still crash like 5 times that way too but it'll go through.

After many attempts, being locked out, banned, spit on, sworn at, stepped on, and crapped on, I finally got a silver after fighting with the web site for 25 minutes. Not interested in the gold, so I never even tried for that one.

One whole hour of struggling before I got the order thru, crashes and failure to render a complete credit card page. The absolute worst experience by far. Even that 30,000 ASE last year was a piece of cake next to this.
I used to work a little with developing websites before I retired. If our hospital websites had behaved like this, our web team would've been fired.

Gold was in bag earlier but was blocked, cloudflared, metered, etc. Showed as sold out so had to remove.
Hopefully we use a different computer vendor at the department of defense?

WOW, finally got confirmation page for silver.
Signed on 10 minutes before launch.
Got kicked out shortly before noon.
Had similar experiences with capcha and error 1015.
Took countless tries to enter and save cc info.

Had a gold in the bag, check out stage one complete, then a not a valid item in your bag message. This was around 1205

By far the worst experience ever for the Mint. Why do I feel like I say that every time? I thought things were improving...enter Cloudflare. I applaud the attempt to discourage bots and the like, but obviously this was not tested enough. The automatic refreshes that the mint's own website uses to check you out were counting against you for the rate limiting and banning people who just got to the checkout page and selected a credit card. Obviously at about 35 minutes they pulled the plug on Cloudflare because I could click refresh with wanton abandon and not get the Cloudflare rate limiting message anymore. Then, the requests were all going straight through to the mint as usual and their machines were choking...trying on 3 different systems I finally got a silver after an HOUR.... Thanks Mint.

Same here. Finally got a silver. Just took 75 minutes. Gheeeesh. Once in my basket, it was just a tad easier, but still got thrown out via "something went wrong" about 20-30 times.

The Mint’s room with the servers in it must be on fire. The main webpage is down. This is a disgrace and a horrible way to treat their regular customers who buy their money losing junk year after year. This might be the last straw for me and the mint.

I took the entire day off only to be intensely frustrated and to get to this point almost immediately just to have the button freeze while 1945 other people were somehow able to check out. SUCKS.
