I have all pleasant memories and fond thoughts of my dealings with Laura, but sadly none for a few years.

If she is reading this, I wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

She did another market report (I assume, based on orthographic and grammatical sleuthing).

I also wish her a complete recovery.

She posted a bit about her recovery today, 9-20 under Hot Topics. There was also a Market Report on 9-19.

I hope she gets back to doing what she loves. She is a very prominent dealer in a mostly male industry.

I'm glad to see she is back.

Thanks, Laura, for the Hot Topics update.

I'm not surprised she'd presumed "no one cared," given the flack her outspoken commentary would often draw. But the testimonies here make clearly manifest her good heart and remarkable and genuine customer care over the years. I've felt nothing but special to her, myself.

    Best wishes, Laura.

Disagreement with her demeanor and commentary has nothing to do with whether someone cares about her life or health. I'd hate to think that civility is that far gone.

Laura, if you’re reading this, please rest up, take very good care of yourself and get well. And if you’re not reading it, do those things, anyway!😉

Wow. Tough road between dialysis and surgery. Non-medical people may not appreciate how tough this is. Speedy recovery Laura.

I have never met the Ms Sperber personally but I have only heard excellent opinions about her work ethic, eye and business practices. I also wish her a speedy recovery and great health.

Getting through a health crisis like this takes a lot of grit and determination. I think Laura has plenty of both. Get well soon!

Good news - she says she did hire a nurse and that person starts tomorrow

Can the nurse also grade raw coins to PCGS's strict standards? ;)

    Best wishes on her recovery.

You misread my comment, Cameo, or at least I didn't state it well. I meant to say that the outpouring of good wishes may have surprised Laura, who had expressed elsewhere her presumption that "no one cared."

That was certainly, and obviously, not OUR presumption, and came as no surprise to us.

she should be allowed to come back here and kick up some dust, we need to hear what she says when she's medicated and unfiltered

    hysterical comment!

Truth be told, she has been put down here by others going back many years. Some are offended that she is a women in a mans (coin) world, irritated with her steadfast rebuttals to fake news, and highly trusted and regarded by many serious collectors.
Our hosts have shut her down also here more than once , I get corporate policy trumps her delivery, but I do hope she gets back on these boards.
And as many now realize she is not forgotten, and I bet she realizes this also, which is well earned, and do hope she gets better and recovers fully.

Dialysis is a tough road in addition to other health challenges. I'm sorry to hear she has to go through that.

I have a sister who has been going through dialysis now for nearly two years.

Hopefully the dialysis is temporary while she recovers and not permanent like it was for my dad. He had no kidney function and spent the last 10 years of his life on a dialysis machine 3 days a week, 4 hours each day.

Wishing Laura the best for a speedy and full recovery.

I’ve never had the opportunity to meet Laura but I’ve bought two of the most outstanding coins in my collection from her. I really hope she’s on the mend and will be back in the saddle soon.
