I've been looking for the right Zurich city view thaler for about a year now and can't find the right one but hopefully that's the next one. Ones with the look I'm after don't come up all that often and recently when they have prices have been up there. But the chase is part of the fun.

Good question. I’m imposing a temporary lockdown on my buying activity to regrow the war chest a bit. I went on a bit of a buying tear through the first half of the year. Other hobbies are currently ahead of coins right now too. Might be a few months.

Had I read this yesterday I could have answered with an error lincoln cent. As I bid on several coins last evening and won one lincoln Off Center Stretch Strike Copper Cent Mint Error from a forum member. Tickled to finally own one and not intending to begin a collection.

Since the check just arrived today I can say with 100% certainty it will be a 1913 in an OGH and with color.
Well it was going to be a unique item from eBay until the seller raised the price two times. More than twice the original price.
In reality, probably a Morgan-I know not as entertaining.
Would be willing to bet it'll be a bust half.
