When you're HOT you're HOT!

Not coin related but so what? It's early afternoon and 117° here. September is always brutal here but not like this! I'll be out putting water on the Orange trees all night long. So.......what's the temperature where you are? Might make me feel a little better to know.

Just cracked 100 in the Central Valley (CA). It's supposed to peak out at 107 today, so not that much better here than there.

Phoenix is the worst! I went there to run on the track team at ASU. Rented a little house in Tempe with my buddies. The girls there sure were pretty! We lasted about a week. That place was a furnace! Hotter than Hell. No thanks.

Yesterday at 5PM, I took my son to a basketball practice. 97 degrees with a feels like temp of 111 here in Florida. Today it is a little less deadly and will be taking the kids to the beach for sunset.

Back down to 80-100 here. It's usually light sweatshirt weather now or coming up. The cold weather mushrooms are supposed to start growing in a month. I'm sure it'll be a drought and too hot like the last 4 seasons. People were fighting over them in public parks last year. This isn't good or normal or sustainable. Even the magic mushrooms know the planet is dying.

    101 and climbing.

Tomorrow the high is expected to be 108 to 110.

The highest temperature I have experienced since I moved to the East Bay in 1986 has been 117 and the lowest has been 19.

Good to hear. Be there in a few weeks. So excited for Boletus edulis this year.

Got a few last year about the size of my bike seat and some the size of my tires. A few were as big as my torso. Lol.

Wow where do you find them pray tell ?

We should meet up for coffee 😊

It has been in the mid-90's with terrible humidity. It changed today. I pressure washed for two hours this morning and did not break a sweat. That was the first time that I could do that in several months.
