Two days ago it was 100 degrees here. Thick forest fire smoke everywhere.
Here is the view out my window right now (yes, that is snow and a fair amount of it):

    .

The low today will be below freezing.
In a few days it will be back up to the 70s, and then 80s.
That will technically qualify as "Indian Summer" (the best kind of Summer).

The great avocado drop of 2020.

I do not think my tree liked the 115-degree heat.

It snowed avocados last night ...

Not coin related but so what? It's early afternoon and 117° here. September is always brutal here but not like this! I'll be out putting water on the Orange trees all night long. So.......what's the temperature where you are? Might make me feel a little better to know.

I hope lots of other posters don’t have the attitude of “so what?”.

How about a thread where your local temperature equals the last two digits of a coin?

    Here's mine:

It's 48 and rainy here today, but this will probably not convince anyone.

Yesterday 90, right now it's 53. Friday we'll probably do 90 again. Gotta love it.

That Sux's. Is there a way to put up avocados...like freezing something(aka guacamole) or whatever? I indulge in avocados when they are reasonably priced...would love to put up some when they are but never looked into this.

I am giving away as many as I can.

I heard you can freeze ripe avocados so I am going to do that in the next few days as they ripen.
