Recent upgrade - 1807 Small Stars Capped Bust Half

This is a look I definitely like on these coins, a sort of pewter look with some edge luster. The die cracks don't hurt either. This coin is graded XF-45 and has the green bean as well. I still like the VF-30 I upgraded from too!

A beautiful piece in every way.

Beautiful 1807 small stars, and a late die state O.113a to boot...excellent choice!
Your set is looking better and better, Erik..... congrats!

Very nice, too bad someone didn't acetone the black stuff off her face before submitting it to Pcgs.

I too enjoy the "dirty gray" look.

No offense intended, but I will be contrary to say the blackish stuff is very unappealing to me.

None taken. It's not as obvious when viewed as normal size, plus it really doesn't bother me. They might acetone off and then you might have bright white spots, which would not be good.
