This is a look I definitely like on these coins, a sort of pewter look with some edge luster. The die cracks don't hurt either. This coin is graded XF-45 and has the green bean as well. I still like the VF-30 I upgraded from too!

I too enjoy the "dirty gray" look.
No offense intended, but I will be contrary to say the blackish stuff is very unappealing to me.

None taken. It's not as obvious when viewed as normal size, plus it really doesn't bother me. They might acetone off and then you might have bright white spots, which would not be good.
