Sending coins back and forth can certainly be nerve-wrecking. Glad to read about the most recent news!

I have been checking tracking daily.......well several times daily, but I signed up for text and email updates. Both came through at once. I couldn't believe my eyes.. Nothing but relief .

    Great to hear.

Dont want to spoil it, but a fresh scan means in all likely hood it will make it safely. I am so happy for ya.

This was one of the reason's I refuse to mail a few higher dollar coins to cac right now (or any where for that matter) as i mentioned in another thread.

That’s great news and I’m happy for you.

I live in California and and I only use FedX with a 3rd party for insurance when I submit to CAC. I don’t send packages on Friday. FedX costs more but the package arrives to the receiver within 24 hours.

Although I’ve never had the USPS lose a package I’ve had numerous bad experiences. Priority express mail can sometimes take up to 2-3 days. I’ve had numerous packages sent to me which require signature and they’re delivered to the wrong address without any signature. FedX may not be perfect but I think they’re a better option.

I just got a watch band shipped from Great Britain 2 months ago. Seller gave me a refund after a month and I contacted him today and told him I got it. Since it was eBay I had to send him my email in code so he could send me an invoice. name##at##comcast(dot)net it worked ( up yours ebay). I never thought I’d get it and I’m pretty sure he never expected to get paid. All’s well that ends well.

Yes, they magically started tracking again, landing in Atlanta. 5 days later they arrived home.

I don't know how far Kearny is from Newark, but there is a bottleneck around in the area. I also had a package stall in Kearny for 5 days before it landed in Jamaica, NY..........35 miles away.

Once it arrived in Atlanta with the first tracking in a month my nervousness disappeared. It only took 3 days for the package to go from Atlanta to me in California.
