I would not be surprised if it is in an AU holder. I love the look of it but am unable to tell if some of what i can see is rub or bagmarks with this picture.
I'm usually not one of the best, when it comes to grading. But even I can see the wonderful frosty appearance. I'll go 63PL
I myself, would love to have such a beauty in my collection.

Photos imply lots of chatter both in the fields and on the devices. Obverse there are marks on the chin, eyelid, forehead and nose. Reverse scratches to the left and right of the eagle and above 'TRUST'. Nice strike and looks like there is frost on both sides. Can't tell much about the reflectivity but with the frost I suspect that it is there. I'll go 62 PL but could see this in a 63 holder.
well....most of you are sort of right,m some more than others.
So, this coin has at least 6 professional opinions now, as it has been graded twice. Seems like a split grade decision to me....
It used to live in an older ATS holder in MS 63....
Now it is in a current PCGS holder at MS 62 PL.
It got opinions 4-6 cuz it has mirrors that are at least 3 inches in reflectivity....not sure why it wasn't designated PL ATS...maybe b/c of price jumps? And now I'm not sure why it didn't get MS 63PL here....maybe b/c of price jumps?

Anyway, good job you forumites!
I’m confident that what you describe as “price jumps” had nothing to do with the grading. Countless coins with far greater value and value differences between consecutive grades, have received the benefit of the doubt with respect to grade.

That booger caps it at 62. Maybe PL but I can never tell from just pics.
I'll be optimistic and guess 63, PL.
MS63. Nice frosted devices, but not enough mirrors and too much luster to be PL, IMO.
63 . with chatter in front of face grade limiting factor.
63
Looking for Top Pop Mercury Dime Varieties & High Grade Mercury Dime Toners.
I'll go with 63, not quite PL.

63.
I am at 64. I am guessing the semi PL fields make those marks look worse than they actually are.
Gonna go out on a limb and say it made a 64PL.
Cheek, breast and wings all look awfully clean ... I'm going to say I think that's a 4. Not sure if it pulls the PL, but I think it could
Nice widget

63 PL
I would call it 62 and a few years back I would expect a max of 63 from a TPG; but with commercial grading the way it is I am guessing 64

62+, probably PL. 63 wouldn't surprise me.

I would grade it as a 62.... TPG grade probably 63.... However, it is a CC Morgan, so I like it...

62 PL

62 PL in my book — as others have said, would not be surprised to see it in a 63 holder. Way too much chatter to be higher than that.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.

63+ just short of the PL

I am thinking it could squeak into a MS63PL grade.

Should be in an MS63 PL holder rather than 62
Hmmmmm . . . . .I would have thought it would get the "CC Bump" up to 63 . . .

I'd buy it up to 63+.
