Just saw this:
CORONAVIRUS HITS LEGEND. Our partner Bruce Morelan who resides in Las Vegas got the virus. He seems to be struggling-its a rough virus. We pray for his recovery and wishes he gets over it soon.

Yeah...prayers for him. He hasn't posted since he said he had it around a week ago.

BRUCE COVID-19 UPDATE
He is alive and is kicking……Looks like he will be fine. He indicated it the worst thing to ever hit him.
Our prayers are with anyone who gets this horrible virus.

That's a very dangerous statement with little scientific support. Temporary immunity is one thing and can be as little as a few months to several years, but permanent immunity has not been suggested for this virus. Be careful.

It's a strange virus. You can have it and not even know...... or go from healthy to dead in a few days. So glad Bruce is doing better. Thankfully, the numbers from the last few days are very hopeful.

Ouch! Glad he is on the mend. Just an observation: it may seem obvious, but it's worth repeating. The more people with whom you come in contact, the more likely you will contract the virus.
A major problem is that it can be severe, or you might not know you even have it.

I know at least 1 person who is a volunteer medic who got it twice already. Each weeks apart and starting and finishing with symptoms
And once you've had chicken pox, you're immune from it, although you may get shingles decades later.

This is unknown, actually. There are reports of re-infection. Coronaviruses in general often have limited post infection immunity.

You are misinformed. Many folks who recovered have tested positive again. FACT and not something "I understand."
Ugh does twins count as a preexisting condition? As one of the great ambassadors of our hobby and a good dude, I send my best wishes for a full recovery and that it doesn't strike anyone else in his surroundings. Be well TDN .

Scientists do not yet know enough about this new coronavirus. What percentage of people become immune to the virus if exposed? How strong is the immunity? Will it actually prevent reinfection? How long would this immunity last? Is it two years as the SARS study hints at or could it be much shorter than that? How does all of this vary from person to person? How many different versions of the virus may end up circulating?
