I don’t call it ‘free’ money as you need money to do it, and be lucky to get one
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, you are right. You need money and the coin first; however, did you think to add that a person needs a computer, must be living, etc.
Hopefully others here understood my meaning without needing to add the dozen other obvious conditions to the ones you thought of.

"The 2019 American Eagle Once Ounce Silver Enhanced Reverse Proof Coin WILL NOT be available at the Mint’s sales centers in Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; and Denver."
Has anyone seen an official mention of Baltimore one way or the other?
It seems so odd that they would not sell them in any usual retail location but they will be at Baltimore??
The US Mint is releasing the highly anticipated 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagle on November 14, 2019. It will be limited to just 30,000 coins, the lowest mintage of an American Silver Eagle to date—even lower than the coveted 1995-W Proof Silver Eagle.

I’ve seen an official mention by the US mint that 500 of these coins will be released in Baltimore. For some reason it won’t let me link the article

The last time that their surge capacity was really tested was the 18 Palladiums. I wonder if it's improved any.
There are too many steps for checkout. Of course, we're all in the same boat for that. Further, it seems that it's storage of CC info is not very stable in times of surge but perhaps I'm wrong and it's just my experience.

I think there are around 130 presales sold on ebay just today. I wonder what percent of those sales with actually result in delivered coins.
Most of them will. Some dealers will buy at market prices to fill the orders even if it means making a small profit.
They can't buy them on the secondary market at today's prices and make anything > @Raufus said:
I sacrificed an easy $750 in overtime to try to get these. Nuts. Now, watch me get shut out....
On another note, it would be funny to know how many different, open accounts folks here have on their computers getting ready to go....

I really feel bad for the collectors who were shut out.
Just a terrible job by the Mint.
As someone said, if one has one in their cart it should be reserved for them.
Welp. Even looking at BIN on Ebay the 300-400$ range are selling as quickly as they are listing. I really wanted one, so I sucked it up and paid out the nose for it. The other VERY interesting thing is how many ebayers are selling this with a sub 50 rating on there, which for me is sort of a no-go area.

Well, some dealers are paying more than that. I'm not sure why everyone wasn't buying the $350 ones. Some were selling for $250 last night. LOL. I'm sure glad I'm paying all you guys $500 each!

I don't expect them to all pull through but I have a lot of friends and co workers, and luckily my friends and co workers have even more friends

i think the big companies are just using their in house workers to buy them, the premium is too high for them

Another big company has 300 people trying to buy them right now.
