What is going on with this slab?? Suspicious...

Cert matches but the coin looks off, dull even
Also the some of the details on the slab appear off as well, unless its a misprint
Has someone counterfeited our host? Is this possible? Have you seen this before?

Fake coin, fake slab. real serial number unfortunately. You can't just verify the serial number and think that you are safe.

This will sound harsh, but anyone who would bid on that kinda needs to perhaps pay some tuition.
    That's a terrible fake.

    That's a weird date/mint/variety to fake.
First thing I noticed was the lack of the word MOTTO on the label.
    Here is mine for comparison.

    Also...The coin # is wrong

Barcode reads as 7226.64/13663977 which the PCGS website says is an 1893-s MS-64 Morgan dollar:

Listing has ended, but I still reported it...Unfortunately, seller is in England and I've had little luck in them nuking fakes or counterfeits...

Listing is gone. Did it get nuked, or did some unfortunate soul get burned?

Scary. Nice catch. Even if it is marked sold on eBay does not mean it sold on eBay. You can remove a listing say no longer available and indicate it was sold.

    Nuked, poofed.

If someone bought/won the auction we’d be able to see details.
