Invent the next generation of exaggeration

RogerBRogerB Posts: 8,852 ✭✭✭✭✭

We've read all sorts of nonsensical exaggerated language from auction companies and dealers as that attempt to stack superlatives for coin that are touting. But it seems they are running out of words. monikers such as "rainbow," "double nuclear," "super moose," "supernova," and others are becoming routine and unimpressive.

Now is the time for collectors to invent a new generation of exaggeration - then copyright or trademark the words and phrases and charge hefty fees for their use. What are YOUR original hyperboles?

(Please, no gentle auxesis. Be blunt; be brief.)

A term used in the south, though not commonly applied to coins, would be 'bodacious'....I look forward to seeing that in an auction description.... :D Cheers, RickO

"21st Century rarity" - pertaining to any coin mintage under 1 million.
With the world population increasing toward 8 billion, a "pawltry" mintage of 1 million is the new "21 Century rarity".
