Coin shop truck

Have any members seen this concept? Its a truck in which the person made the interior into a coin shop. Very neat idea.
Does anyone have any idea where this is at? The person stated he had a website but couldn't hear it.

    It looks to be at least partially armored.

    It does look to be armored, heck even inside the person has bars between himself and the buyer.

    I think the truck is a clever idea ... a hellaciously dangerous idea ... but clever, nonetheless.

    There is a Florida dealer who bought an old Brinks truck and converted it into a vehicle he uses to go to and from the shows. He doesn’t sell out of it so far as I know.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    We had a Pizza guy do that in town a while back. He was OK until he rolled his truck onto Ocean Ave. The rest of the restaurant owners paying high commercial real estate shut him down quickly.
    I see this guy as a kind of a vest pocket dealer with wheels, here. Can you imagine going up to his truck with your checkbook?

    Now there's an idea.

    Retrofit old Brink's trucks into RVs for coin and jewelry dealers to travel to shows. Dealers could tour the South during the colder months, travelling from show to show. Could be a good business for someone, but not for me.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    It's used for buying gold and silver at malls, shopping centers and various flea markets. Cheaper than setting up at hotels. Great way to fleece the sheep -- all he needs is a televangelist to whoop up the crowd.

    That’s what garages are for... but I’m noticing more and more people not using them for their cars/trucks but as a storage “shed.”

    That is Hauser's Coin in Lakeland Fl. He does not sell from it, it is a fully functioning armored truck he uses for transport.

    I know the guy who posted that video, Silver Bean Counter. I'm quite active on YouTube. Silver Bean Counter is more of a stacker than a numismatist. When the truck dealer was talking about full heads on Standing quarters, I doubt Silver Bean Counter understood what he's talking about.

    @mkman123 when SBS posted that video a year ago, I was confused why would anybody operate a coin shop on wheels. As some noted earlier, there's a chance the truck dealer can get robbed. In addition, he wouldn't have an actual address. After all he conducts business on wheels. Kids chasing after the ice cream truck is a thing of the past. I don't think people would be excited about going to the "coin truck."
