I cannot afford to buy and submit all the examples to get discovery credit, but there are several re engraved obverse details on the 1938 Washington quarters.

I'm very pleased to have recently completed a matched set of every coin from 1936-1942...all slabbed white and all in PR66! And it "only" took, literally, roughly 10 years! h

The most difficult coins were getting clean unspotted cents in red condition...and good examples of the buffalo nickles...both brilliant. They're some of my proudest specimens.

    Pics!!!
I’d love to see a group shot!

RichR: I am closing in on the same Project and am lacking all the cents save except a decent '40 cameo along with lacking the '36 and '37 Mercs and Washingyons and 'the '41 and '42 Walkers. The lower prices of late are nice-to a buyer anyhow-but I believe it has pushes some issues into 'hiding.'

    Great work Roger!

Thanks! Hope you get much enjoyment from the book! It was a pleasure and challenge to research and write. My goal was to create a lasting resource for this brief, interesting series.

Use the CD to explore specific topics or transfer it to a tablet or phone for reference at shows and club meetings. Feel free to ask questions; and base club presentations on the book's content.

Thank you. I was inspired to hunt one down by a post on these here forum threads. "They" say a couple things - Buy the best you can and The time to buy is when you see it. Both helped me act and not put it off.

BTW Roger, I bought your book. Can't wait to read it. I love this era in coins.

From my new book, delivered yesterday, by @RogerB (thanks Roger) I discovered this Satin 1936 PF Cent that I didn't know existed. The hunt began, the prey cornered and bagged.

    Kudbegud -
Thanks! The goal was to include all verifiable information in hopes of collectors being able to find meaningful answers to their questions in one convenient volume. The CD text is fully searchable and much better than any ordinary index.
