I want to thank everyone once again for contributing last night, and acknowledge that this happened so very quickly that even more members wanted to give after it was all over. This was not about the money, so if you missed the opportunity to donate, you are in no way less of a friend. This is a present from all of us, whether you donated or not.
I am truly amazed by the generosity of the members here. This forum is a great place, full of knowledgeable people and experts in nearly every niche in the field of numismatics. But it is also a community of genuinely good people, and last night was a great example of that.
It is easy in life to get caught up in the negativity of the world. It is what people remember best, the things that hurt them in life. But, kindness and sharing, things we all learned before we could even read and write, should always be paramount to insolence and greed. It is, in fact, contagious. As people started to sign onto this "project," more and more stepped up.
So, I applaud you all. @Paradisefound , after giving so much, is finally getting a gift herself. Not because we "owed" her. But because a more deserving person does not presently frequent these boards. And so our token of appreciation, a coin that appears to have been implicitly struck by the hand of God for her own personal collection, is heading home.

You know, so many beyond the original 20 are still looking to donate.
I came up with this as a way to include others: if you want to keep it going post that you are willing to put up 25 bucks, and to what member that paid the 50 you will PayPal the funds. That way up to 40 people can contribute. Then, contact that member to get the PayPal address and send them the money.
Lets start at the bottom, so I will be last.
I will update the beginning of the thread with new donors that split with the original members.

@ricko has joined us and as promised we are working backwards in splitting the fifty bucks so more could "sign the card." @bolivarshagnasty has been reimbursed $25.
Remember guys, this is just a way for more to participate in sharing the original gift.
If interested Pledge your 25 and state the member you are reimbursing from bottom up. (Ex. Ricko donated and bolivarshagnasty is reimbursed 25 from that member.)

I spent the day yesterday traveling to, and attending a wedding and missed all the festivities here.
