Only your second one?? I'm not sure why, but I thought you were more of an avid collector of these.

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

I don't only collect bust halves. Some of them aren't even halves at all.

Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

Our hosts graded this coin the very rare grade of MS60. I think we share the same mind as I was hoping for a 62!

A(nother) Type Set extension I have in progress: CC type set. Of course, this has Seated Coinage written all over it!

1875-CC Dime: (Streak in upper right is shadow from holder scratch, and I think a cat hair snuck in there). :)

    1875-CC 20-Cent:

    1877-CC Quarter:

Next up: Seated Half and Trade Dollar. (Have the CC Morgan, which doesn't apply HERE).

I haven't purchased blast white coins often, but I am starting to love them. Two NGC MS62 Seated Halves. I am still working on photography coins without toning. Very hard to capture the luster the way the eye sees it. I am getting a lot of light reflection off the holders.

  • Options

Tyler - I also find it tough to get decent pics of white coins with lots of luster, but my knowledge of photography is pretty limited. Surfaces look really mark free on your 62's.
