Thanks! I plucked it out of a Wayte Raymond album back in 2008, and sent it in. PCGS PR64. It has just a little bit of toning rubbed off the breast from the album slides, or else I think it might have graded higher.

So I just saw that Doug's set on the Registry has been retired! Say it ain't so!

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

Cary - Yes, and what an amazing set it is. Most are being consigned through Gerry Fortin. The 1884 above was the last of the pictures I took of it.

Well, Vern, I am sad to see such a wonderful set being broken apart. To be able to get anything over 75% complete is truly an incredible numismatic accomplishment, so to see Doug's set over 96% complete... WOWZERS!!! So many tough, tough coins throughout the series. I'll have to keep an eye out for when his items get listed. There are a few coins of his that I wouldn't mind trying to acquire.
