    Actually, it appears they have a lot of fakes. I haven't looked through them all yet, but this is fake too:

    Gee... an incused design with absolutely no detail in the head dress? The seller has almost 1000 positive transactions. They offer a 30 day return, but it's still a bogus piece.

    Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;

    Note the gash in the eagles breast on the CC? Yep, clear marker for a fake from Aliexpress.

    feedback shows negatives for selling fake coins, but continues to list them

    1878-CC Morgan was COUNTERFEIT. Fast refund, but seller listed more fake coins.

    Do you mean my info? I assure you the ones I posted here are fake. He has one more $2 1/2 listed that MAY be genuine. I didn't post that link because I wasn't sure. These three are REALLY bad fakes though.

    Not sure what you are talking about but the coins being discussed here are obvious fakes and jwitten knows what he's talking about..

    It would great if we could save pictures of these things and post them here so that less experienced collectors can get to know what to look for. Unfortunately now all you get from eBay now is, "We searched high and low ..."

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    I agree with Bill... they have all been taken down now. In another thread, a member asked about pointers to detecting fake/counterfeit coins... Capturing these pictures and posting the pick up points (PUPS) can be very educational for new collectors or those new to a series. Cheers, RickO

    I didn't save the pictures of these, but I have of others in the past. I am sure this person will relist (check their feedback), so I will try to save them when they do. Here are some of the past ones I've saved:

    I hope that the forum members that see these obviously fake coins don't think that all counterfeits are this crudely produced. Most counterfeits being produced these days are of vastly better quality and require the eye of a skilled authenticator to unmask their spurious origins.

    Messaging this seller does no good. Done it over and over to no avail. Big importer of fakes. Have reported to ebay dozens of times and yet they don't nuke the seller. Shame.

    Yep, I've messaged them several times and never even get a response. It's a shame more can't be done (like jail) since they obviously know what they are doing.

    Most fake gold coins are far better than this one. Only buy gold coins that have already been slabbed by one of the major grading services unless you are an expert authenticator.

    This statement is not really assuring when you can find, from this seller and others, fake coins in fake PCGS slabs.
    If you don't know it's real from looking at it, don't depend on the slab.

    I was curious when you report these people selling fakes to Ebay are you actually calling a person on the phone? Asking their first and last names of the Ebay employee? Asking for their boss after you report the fake coins? Telling this information to the Ebay Supervisor and then ASKING FOR HIS NAME? After which you tell the Supervisor after he gives you his name YOUR GOING TO REPORT THIS TO THE Authorities of Jurisdiction including the United States Post Office and ect.

    I think that might do good but then follow through with the reporting and give them all the names that your wrote down. Would someone do that and share back here how that worked. If you did that I would give you applause many times over!!!!! Lets get these people behind bars where they belong. That would be an accomplishment.
