    And how much did that "pinch" cost? And what did PCGS charge to have it ??? encapsulated & certified?

    sometime it's not the cost of slabbing or $$ of the item that counts, it's the coolness factor that cannot be calculated B)

    Maybe yes & maybe no. In my case my heirs will inherit it & I’ll specify it will be part of the permanent estate ;)

    That pinch of gold from the S S Central America is very cool. I'd be concerned that the gold sliding around in the slab would eventually cause the slab window to become cloudy.

    If I remember right this is an American River nugget I found back in the late 1960's or early 70's. Weighs right at 51 grams. Sold it a few years back to a fellow formite.
