That pinch of gold from the S S Central America is very cool. I'd be concerned that the gold sliding around in the slab would eventually cause the slab window to become cloudy.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I have a couple of nuggets I have found.... will have to post a picture later, when I have time to go get them... not far, just busy today. Cheers, RickO
Looks like a buffalo facing right, I like it a lot. I went gold panning yesterday and found some flour size specs. Did you find this one or by it?
If I remember right this is an American River nugget I found back in the late 1960's or early 70's. Weighs right at 51 grams. Sold it a few years back to a fellow formite.

And how much did that "pinch" cost? And what did PCGS charge to have it ??? encapsulated & certified?
sometime it's not the cost of slabbing or $$ of the item that counts, it's the coolness factor that cannot be calculated
Wow, "sweet" !!!
Agree, but the cost will come to play when you try to sell it.
Maybe yes & maybe no. In my case my heirs will inherit it & I’ll specify it will be part of the permanent estate

How big is this nugget?
I think that a pinch is like the new math equivalent of $130/$135.
Australia Nugget 61 grams from Perth mint.
That nugget is a beauty.
