How much time a week do you spend searching for coins?

I must admit, I probably spend at least 1 hour a day searching for coins in various locations. Dealers I am familiar with, searching for new small dealers with diamonds in the rough, eBay, Heritage, Stacks, Goldberg's, European Auctions, GC, B&M's if the opportunity affords... What about you?

More than an hour for me.....I'll take my tablet to the beach with me

Long shadow still....live from South Maui "Keawekapu" beach
here is looking North toward West Maui mountain

Probably about 30 seconds, the time it takes to check the reject slots on local Coinstar machines.
Lately... a lot.
Maybe an hour a week.

More than I'd care to admit.
An hour a day sounds about right
About an hour a day.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
OK...That will be my answer too...

I spend 4 to 5 hours a day looking at, researching online and just any free time is spent on the computer. So much my dog is pissed at me!
About an hour here. Used to be 2-3 hours but I’ve slowed down.
Every time I sit a the computer I look at my saved eBay searches. Then about once a week I visit dealer's websites and hit the "shop" button on the registry sets.
All added up..... maybe 2 or 2.5 hours a week of actively looking.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
ok, I did the math.
500 times a day refresh at 2 seconds each equals 16.67 minutes times 7 equals about 2 hours per week.
Probably not enough. I always seem a day late. In reality maybe 30 minutes on the low end, 90 minutes on the high end. Having a full-time job is necessary but cuts into the searching time, then there are the activities...darts, ball, etc.

A few hours a week........
I have to admit I search ebay probable 15-20 minutes every night sometimes more. I also go to coins shows and have a lot of coin friends. I will call it 8-10 hours a week.
Best place to buy !

Depends on how much spare cash I have at the time.
I spend at least an hour a day on coins, though not all in searching.

Over 5k of his posts are the exact same thing. It's called post padding.
Thanks for posting that before I did..drives me crazy.

I search as much as I can while I'm at work without having my performance suffer. Might as well get paid to look for coins, right?
Not much anymore. My set(s) are complete.
I checked and his(?) posts are not exactly the same.
They are mostly short and things like Nice!!! or Cool!!! .
Seems legit and friendly to me. Similar to clicking on the "Like" button.
Back on topic:
I check my Saved Searches on ebay about 2x a week for about an hour each time.
In bed at night with my iPad for final wind down of day. Usually only last a few min though and I’m out cold.
Might take me all week to get through one dealer that way. Atlas, a month! Then it’s fresh again from the start.....
None, have been in a sell off phase, but the light at the end of the tunnel is more coins.
Personally @Timbuk3 brightens my day each day here [and occasionally on the currency forum],
If he/she is 'post padding' with 5872 posts in 8 years.....................what am I doing with 4001 post in less than 2 years?

I appreciate @Timbuk3 ........I have never seen he/she make a bad comment to anyone.

2 to 3 hours a day. I'm retired. It's monotonous, but every now and then it pays off...

Timbuk3 is good and I seen once he got into a post and let his feelings known. Cant remember what it was but got my attention! Keep it up Timbuk3! Nice to know your around , calm's me
More time than I can tell the wife about!!
It's easer for me to say I sleep 4 hr a night and the rest looking or sharpening my picking skills.
Hoard the keys.
I use about an hour browsing for coins. I'm not really looking to buy a coin but if I see one that jumps out at me while browsing I will buy it.

@Timbuk3 is the best!!! Never a negative thing to day. Always thinks my coins are great! I think he is from Hawaii, I hope he is staying safe.
Maybe 1 to 2 hours a month... I like to look at coins, but have a lot of other things to do. Usually see more coins here in a day than I do searching in any given week....Once in a while, when I have some time, I will look for a particular coin.... I do not do random browsing though. Cheers, RickO
Once a while he would post " ewww" with this "

I know...If I don't have the cash at the time, I don't want to see it.
10-20 hrs. a week on different websites.
Only maybe one hour per week looking. But another hour or two per day reading and learning.
It's happiness.

..too much time. I have nothing better to do until I return to work so that helps. Now that business is bonkers, I don't think I'll be doing much coin buying/selling. I'll certainly be searching for my own collection, though.
Various visits to banks to find halves and dollar coins - yup
How's that been going @SaorAlba ? My credit union didn't have enough halves on hand for a box and there's a metals place half a block over. They never see anything.
