What have YOU collected that just doesn't have much interest in the market?

I have more than a few statehood quarters 
Bought some when they were in full swing.....traded for some ICG PR70 1999 Silvers (minus Delaware) that I will likely be buried with.
Back-bought the PCGS 2000-2003 SHQs (silver) and the USMint Proof Sets in OGP. Luckily, not quite at the high, but I didn't sell them either, for a profit, when I could have.
I have other, odds and ends, as well, but for me, as I look at what I have, the things I think that I paid more than I should have (looking back at it) as a collection, would be:
Slabbed SHQs
USMint mint sets (1959-current)
USMint Proof sets (late 195x's - current....particularly clad)
I also did some odds and ends from the mint that they only did partway and then canceled (SHQ+stamps)
I don't mind the SHQs from circulation that went into albums.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I have a huge pile of elongated coins and vecturist tokens and store cards and those large ANA medals . I bought the whole lot off an older gentleman who started collecting them in the 60's. I think they are pretty cool but no one on planet earth is interested in them .
I have a 2009 presidential dollar in proof 70 Ultra cameo that I'm hanging onto for some reason.

My daughter and son do elongated (copper) cents at every place they go.
My daughter is old enough to have an ebay and PayPal account. Make her an offer on the elongated cents that she can not refuse
Not really collected, per se, but when offered all-or-nothing estates, I wind up with mint sets and Proof sets that have been gathering dust for years.
GSA CC dollars - I made the mistake (perhaps) of selling off the better dates for a quick profit, and holding on to a stack of the 82/83/84's.
Canadian Bank Tokens - I don't know if there is much of a market for these anymore, but I have a bunch.
I'm heavy into 2 Cent Pieces, they seem to be one of the red headed step children.
Same with Shield Nickels. Those faceless designs are not in vogue.

I am just starting to sell a few a little at a time. I posted a lot of 25 that is a random mix , started them at 25 cents so she will probably not have any trouble affording them

Thank you but no. She is to busy going to school for her second degree to collect these now. eBay is full of them anyway. What she really likes better is really old holed type coins.
Actually coin related (1913 LH nickel). And a shiny Buffalo nickel to anyone who can tell the class why.
Not much interest in the coin market - but there are at least a coupla folks who'd pay a decent four-figure pile for it.

I am struggling to find the link, and it is not my video, but someone did a WW1 or WW2, immaterial, battle, freeze frame type thing, about 5 minutes long, between the Germans and the British. The "soldiers" were Hummels (Germans) and Wedgewood and Waterford (Brits) "things". I assume they were using a BB gun or something, but the battle was rough, casualties were high, and there was not a lot of unbroken "collectibles" at the end. I guess they solved their over inventory issue.

I like both 2 centers and Shield Nickels.
Draped half cents, 2 cents, 3 cents, got some 80's proof sets too.
Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.
The good thing about collecting lesser demand coins is that you can get a "scarce" coin for a good price.
The bad part obviously, is trying to sell back into the thin market (even thinner now since you are out if it.)

Three cent nickels have been a fascination of mine for a long time. They were minted in tiny numbers for circulation all the way up to 1889.
Complete set of US Mint wrapped rolls P&D ... Presidential Dollars. I have no idea as to what to do with them.
Most post-1960 medals.
Mint and proof sets... glad I finally kicked the habit about 8 or 9 years ago. Still have a large box full of these sets. I have Ike dollars also... not much interest in them it seems. Not that I am selling, just rare to see posts about them. Also commemoratives.... My collection is not the series though...just one for each of the states I have lived in (not all states have commemoratives). Then there are the coins that just got my attention...
Yeah.. quite a few of them.... odds and ends... Oh well, I just like coins I guess...

I started buying the colorful BEP cards
at shows back in the early '70's that showed
early US currency.
The notes on them were printed
from the original plates, and I though
they were colorful and cool.
They never caught on, which kinda surprised me.
Now, I accept it......

@topstuf ....I did it cold turkey... when I relocated from WA state to NYS, and I had to pack boxes of it, I made my decision....it was good motivation. Looking at your picture of boxes of cents...well, I think you may need professional assistance...

Modern Commemorates
I always wanted to get into these if for no other reason I could have everything that is hard to sell. The problem with scrip is that there is no inexpensive entry point. You can get into things like doubloons, telephone tokens, vectures, game tokens, tax tokens and just about everything for a few pennies apiece and then build a collection but not with scrip. A nice selection of 100 different coal tokens is going to run you at least 100 or $150.
The hardest to sell appears to be the game tokens. You virtually can't give them away. I tried to sell my trading stock and duplicates at a give-away price and there no takers. I ended up giving the trading stock to a friend and putting the junk in the trash. It was the same with transportation tokens; they wouldn't even bring 10c each.
I'm considering putting the collection of ~4,000 different on sale for a song but suspect no one knows the lyrics. They bring good money on eBay though.

Earlier this week a piece of Nancy Drew artwork from the '40s sold for 35 large.
Personally, I'd rather have a nice set of half dimes (well, maybe no 1802), three centers of both types, shield nickels, and boatloads more for that kind of dough.
All this talk of the hardy boys makes me want to hop in the old stutz bearcat ( thats a jalopy ) with a few chums in the rumble seat.
Seriously though , those poor boys , they were pistol whipped or conked on the head in every story at least twice

I had about a 10-12 year period where I collected girlfriends. I managed to kick the habit around 1995 and have lived happily ever after since. I did hang onto the last one, though.
