Picture posts seem to live forever, popping up days or weeks after they dropped down the list.

Look how long the EU Coin Set thread lasted....that went on forever, members would post just to break posting records with that one! So you need a thread that sparks controversy or follows a collecting pattern.
Photos are always a draw.

Ditto for me....I stopped doing show reports as it became apparent my observations, market commentary, and NEWPS weren't interesting enough for the masses.
I do, however, always try and take a moment to thank those that take the time to post a reasonably detailed show report.
I like show reports and 'What makes coin dealers drink' threads.... However, educational threads, particularly those with pictures are my favorites. Cheers, RickO
