I get it - YOU want to win this "coin" so you are trying to chase away the competition by making us think there is something wrong with it.
Apparently after all these years eBay is still a place inexperienced collectors can go to get an expensive education.

It's round; it sort of looks like silver; and it says "1885-CC" on it. What's the problem?
When I was kid in the 1950s, people were encouraged to enter contests in TV commercials with the official entry form or “a reasonable facsimile.” While this might look like “an unreasonable facsimile” to us, to an eBay bargain hunter who sees a catalog price of $200 or so, it looks like “a deal.”

@AUandAG they get bids for the same reason that a girl with two posts here, a camera, and the Internet bumped my BST U.S. Coins post yesterday that I spent 2-1/2 hours working on because she had a 1988 cent (or something) with many "errors, especially on the anverse" and was too lazy to acquire any knowledge or even post in the right place. Oh, let's all go visit her!

Yes, it's just like the reporting feature, whether as a counterfeit, or anything else just is not being attended to.
I'm surprised somewhat by ebay's lack of actions on this and many others I've reported (and you have reported) in the past few weeks. Seems like the old days when Judy was terminated.
