The Oregon and Pan Pac are outrageous and that Lynchburg is an absolute kaleidoscope ! ! !

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Thank you guys. Someone who is a fabulous collector had another opportunity ... need to do a quick deal. A great dealer happened to know both of us, and put it together. Now which duplicates to let go ... it's always the most difficult thing to do once you have developed feelings for a particular coin.

Doug that is a GREAT group! That’s an especially Lynchburg. They don’t come that way too much

    Congrats!

The Huguenot is on of my favorites. Also interestingly, the PanPac is so soothing and smooth it just captivates me.

I also bought the Sheperd Gettysburg in 68, which was the first 68 made. Its in an OGH with a bean. Getting photos is going to be a little more tricky.

All really nice coins, but the Huguenot with color is a rare bird...gorgeous.
I see someone else posted this same coin on another thread, I guess there are two of them?

Here's one I was so proud to see go 66. It's been stuck in a 65 holder for a long time. I know 66 is not at top grade, but I love how the King is reaching out and grabbing the rainbow. What a perfect streak of toning on the reverse!

Actually I couldn’t part with these. It’s the twins that I need to sell but that’s going to take a little mental prep. I have the same problem with two Grants not pictured here. And also two Lincoln’s in the same grade. Two Albany’s too even though PCGS has plussed one of them. I’m an addict!!!

Your Pan Pac is especially wonderful.

That is a beautiful group of coins!

I think that most issues of the "old commemorative" coin market is slumbering, except the coins that look like these pieces.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

All are wonderful. I love bullseye toning, so for me it's the Oregon, the Hugenot and the San Diego. Great bunch of colorful Commems. Congrats.

  • SmudgeSmudge Posts: 9,830 ✭✭✭✭✭

The colors on the Lynchburg are wonderful too. Green is my favorite color and it is hard to find a nice coin with pretty lime green toning.

My favorite is the Lynchburg. What a coin!

  • johnny9434johnny9434 Posts: 29,332 ✭✭✭✭✭

Some killer coins in that group. The Huguenot, San Diego, and Lynchburg are the ones I like best.
