I'm getting up early to drive 3 hours to a coin show. Couldn't care less.

I'll be up early ( I hope ) to unload a bunch of junk I've had on my Truck for a week now. I hope My Royal doesn't need to unload what he's picking up , in a few years.
It’s unamerican so I won’t watch.
He’s making a HUGE mistake anyways. Marrying a California hot party girl. I’ll just betcha the Queen is not so happy with this one.
Her father’s not even going so why should I watch it
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Well, like golf, marriage is a game of avoiding hazards.
I was hoping that the British Open was this weekend too

I work second shift mostly and sometimes into third shift and I don't watch much TV. I'm up to speed on current events like I am on today's fashions. I didn't know there was a Royal Wedding going on until I overheard my wife and daughter talking about it this past weekend. The look on their faces was priceless when I asked "who's getting married?"
My wife is all over that. As prep work we have been watching every made for tv movie about the romance for the last 48 hours non stop. That's why I drink Schlitz.
My wife just set the alarm for it. I’ll have a pillow over my head. I feel you Schlitz

Not me. Just remember that over the centuries, there has been a lot of incestuous relationships in European royalty, with the predictable results: Juana la Loca, Mad Ludwig of Bavaria, etc.

Like Paradisefound I am in a time zone that will only require me to stay up late tonight rather than wake up early in the morning. Will probably at least catch the start of it if only to check to see if my daughter who is there on business is visible along the carriage route.
A good friend has a medal commemorating Princess Diana's and Prince Charles' wedding. The silver medals were given to ambassadors. And the gold ones were given to a select few royal members. I'll have to get a photo sometime!
...I suppose one of the very few ways that you call yourself Harry on purpose is when you get named Henry...I say Good Luck to the Tuff young Prince of England, as any good Englishman is a Friend to me...I do Admire that he chose an American woman to wed, and plus she’s hot...I think I’ll go and watch Coming To America now, but I gotta turn the mancave exhaust fan to ludicrous-speed just to see the screen in front of me...I’ll continue to browse CU while I wait the 10 min, and I’ll grab a Chip’s It from the deep freezer for the browsing
Who says this event with its historic location is not coin related? From a recent reporting in the Daily Mirror:
"The Queen hands out coins to pensioners for Maundy Thursday in annual tradition that marks the first day of Easter
Queen Elizabeth II presented commemorative coins to 92 men and 92 women at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle - where Prince Harry will wed Meghan Markle in May."

Just received these photos from my daughter along with a message stating, "Just saw Meghan."
And here is Meghan and her Prince Charming as I saw them moments later on TV.
No. I really like England... been there often....and have worked for a British company for years. However, I have no interest in these events...There is a gun show today in my area though..and I will be there... Actually getting ready to leave shortly. Now that will be fun. Cheers, RickO
I realize Coinstartled is just rattling cages with something like this but the predictable responses of the Grumpy old men club here at chez PCGS coin forum is tiring.
and even though I qualify as grumpy, old and male, I think it is a little bit refreshing that a divorced African-American woman can marry into the royal family and be embraced by many. Joe may be right that the Queen and the bride's father aren't happy. If so, it's their loss.
In other news, I always liked Schlitz. Can't get it where I live now.

Just received these photos from my daughter (who is in London on business) along with a message stating, "Just saw Meghan."
I didn't watch it but don't think it's a bad thing. I find it remarkable that with the problems we have in our Country we seem so willing to scoff at another Country that's trying to hold on to tradition. in that regard, Great Britain and the USA are polar opposites.
Serious question for the coin investors---will these commemoratives be worth more or less after they get divorced?

I don't know why there is a tendency toward negativity when it comes to this wedding.
IMO, very well and tastefully done with beautiful weather, scenery and people being upbeat.
The coins are awful looking.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.

No interest whatsoever--I'll be sleeping in.

You have officially run out of things to talk about.
I'll be up at zero dark thirty but it will be to go out for a run, not to watch the royal wedding. Enjoy.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
Probably catch some of it from the recording, but I too am sleeping in tomorrow!

Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
Will there be golfing involved?

I hope she treats him 'gingerly' on their wedding night.
Really? I barely paid attention to my own wedding.
I would rather grade a monster box of ASEs for free than watch that drivel.

I am already sick of hearing about it. Have been for a long time.

Its 2018, and about time to end this ridiculous monarchy. They are by all accounts just figure heads anyway.
On another note, its refreshing after all these years of inbreeding, to see they are at least expanding their gene pool.
And no I will not be a spectator.

I'm guessing any guy that actually got up to watch it would also dress for the occasion sort of like this...
This portends to be an "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" situation.

I thought Bishop Michael Curry gave a powerful wedding sermon on love and fire.
I'd rather watch a TV test pattern.
Watch, hell. I'm going!

No, have 4 days off and plan on relaxing. Got up at 10 and we are catching up on the royal rerun and having some brunch.
