Here's an 1886-S five dollar gold piece. It's an odd date, but oddly enough, a common date. Most of the examples you see of this type are dated in the early 1900s.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. i like the 04-S date, as well...relatively low survival rate, with ~750 extant. the seller was obviously clueless.
It's hard to find any nice 04-S $5 over 62/63... that's a prize!
