And do Modern Coin Collectors drive Modern Cars? Do Coin Hoarders drive Beaters?
It wold be interesting to know what you collect (type of collector) and compare this trait with the
current car you drive.

    I went back and bought my fav car from my youth. Isn’t a classic yet but should be soon enough.

    Then I would say you have a WK2 SRT Grand Cherokee which are awesome vehicles. I had two of those myself before buying the Trackhawk.

    I wish it was simple (or I knew how to do it) to post a photo here. But my daily driver is a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis, fun vehicle is a 1940 Ford pickup with a modest built 350 Chevy. I retired from drag racing in 2011, had a 1972 Plymouth Duster, 340 for power.

    Few years left till my 51 fleetline is on the road. Basically started with a rusty tin can, its now a rusty tin can with no holes in it.

    I feel your pain... but now I am at home on windows 10 on a new PC and it seems easier than ever. The far right drop down in the message reply box is to insert button to add an image in your thread/reply. It will let you browse your PC for the photo wherever it's stored even in a quick flash drive or photo card. Just click and search where your photo is stored then click on it. Simple. You can even preview it after to make sure it's how shat you wanted.

    My father used to tell this story..

    His first new car ever was a 1963 Ford Falcon with zero options. He bought it when he graduated OCS in the Navy. After his first year in SF his next duty station was Japan. Military housing there was in short supply so my family lived off base in the Japanese community. He shipped over the Falcon. He said that every day for months he would have to take Japanese locals on drives around the block because none of the had ever seen a passenger vehicle that was so modern, powerful, luxurious and well made.

    I'd like to drive a cool old car, but I have no mechanical ability. You really have to have the ability to fix old cars to own unless you can pay someone else to do the work. My 1973 Javelin would have been a cool show car because they are rare. Most of them have been junked.

    I am the "classic old man in Florida" who drives a Cadillac "reward car." It's a red CT-6. All the "cool people" drive something from Europe or Japan. At least the parking attendant at the Royal Pacific in Orlando called it a "cool ride." It is fun to drive with a duel turbo charged engine.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Chevy Truck. 2015 1500 Silverado. Looks good on the rare occasion that it’s clean. It’s no pavement princess as my other hobbies keep it plenty dirty.

    Classic old cars? A ‘69 Camaro might find its way to the stable someday. We’ll see.

    Mine was a 1963 1/2 Futura convertible in triple black with a 260 V8 T10 Borg Warner 4-speed. I had it for 15 years along with a 1964 Ranchero straight 6, three-on-the-tree, steer hyde bench seat.
