Tubes mostly but I'm primarily a bullion stacker. Anything of collectable value that is not slabbed I put in plastic capsule or in one of a few Dansco Albums I own.

I've never bought those. I might try them when I use up my current stash that need the staples. Are they a lot more expensive?

I like flips you can put tape over, whether you are submitting or keeping the coins safe from staples, etc..

I like air-tites for my better raw coins so I selected plastic capsule.

It's strange but I can't tell you how much I dislike plastic flips.
All I can picture is my coins surfaces grinding away in those things and sometimes they 'flip' right out too.

I like 2x2's and the boxes that hold them. Takes up a lot less room than slabs and easy to go thru.

saflips for temporary storage, and old school envelopes for coins I have no intention of letting go.

An Eagle holder when the piece is not too large or too thin for it.

If the Eagle holder doesn't work, the I use PVC free flips of the proper size.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
  • I know that you can put a bright unc. copper, silver,or nickel coin in a 2x2 and it can look the same after 35 years.

Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.

I bought a bunch years ago and I haven't run out yet. I don't remember their cost but it wasn't anything crazy. I go through them very slowly.

The only drawback is they don't work that well on large coins like silver dollars. The plastic window is just too tight over the coin and eventually the holder separates.

Air tite for cois bigger than a half and flips for cents thru $.25, depending on metal content and value of course.

This looks great! Is that a PCCB holder?

    It's just missing a signature ;)
