Any guesses on what my 1880 will grade?

She left today for PCGS. I think she's got a fighting chance at a 65 but I may be biased. There's a bit of chatter on her cheeks but I'm hoping her overall eye appeal will when the grader over....Thoughts?

    I'd say MS-64 or 63+. The cheek has too many little marks to make MS-65, and the color is not bright enough to given the "toning boost."

    Too many marks in PFA for my taste and I don't think the beautiful color will be able to get it into 64. 63+

    63 with a 50/50 chance they will kick it out for the color. It has been HARD lately because of the fools who have been toning coins inside the holders.

    64+, although on the right day you might slide it through. I've been watching them ruin their reputation on certain series, and its not just the occasional slip. The standard has been lowered, closer to NGC grading standards.

    Just curious and for my education. Allow me to remove the attractive toning from the equation. Anyone wish to break down the reason this coin is a 64 and not a 63. I used the description of marks in the ANA grading guide to base my opinion of MS-63 and then added a + for the color. Take away the color as an "exercise" and I'm MS-63. What am I missing?

    Looks MS63 to me... and since I do not agree with tarnish as an enhancement to the technical grade, I will not opine on that value.... Cheers, RickO

    I see it as a 63 with some help from Avon maybe a 64.
