Will PCGS grade Medallic Arts Co Medals?

I purchased a hoard of nicely toned .999 silver Medals from the 60s depicting California missions, produced by Medallic Art Co of NY. See example pix below - some have even better toning. I know for a fact that NGC grades these, but I would prefer to send them to PCGS, especially so I can get TrueViews, which I think would look amazing. I've emailed PCGS twice about this and have received no response either way. Does anyone know whether our host will grade these? If not I will be sending them to NGC.
Also, if anyone from PCGS reads this, please respond. Thank you!

I would think they'd need to be listed in the correct publication as seen on the PCGS page for Tokens and Medals. send it to NGC, they'll slab anything.
Beautiful toning on those!
I knew it would happen.

Attribution for medals and tokens at PCGS has been very sketchy, based on my experience. Wouldn't want them to add too many more medals to their list yet, because of it! However, if you're interested in photos, there are many other talented coin photographers to have take pictures for you.
Thanks!
Thanks. It's too bad PCGS is so weak in exonumia. I don't have an NGC membership but I suppose I will get one and submit. Maybe I will have them photographed raw before I submit.
If great pictures are what you are after, there are several fantastic photographers here on the forum... then you can always self slab your items. Cheers, RickO

it is fascinating to me that PCGS waited so long to expand what they will encapsulate, but I think weak a bad description. if anything, they waited while NGC did the heavy listing to ensure the markets were active and sustainable. now that they are encapsulating, things will pick up.
if coins are any bellweather for us it is a foregone conclusion that the choice material will migrate into PCGS holders.
I have at least two complete sets of these silver California Mission medals, happily purchased over 15 years ago. I do think they are nice and worthwhile items. But, am I missing something, or wouldn't the slabbing charge be almost (or more) than the value of the medal(s)?
I think and am hopeful that PCGS is slabbing more exonumia now, even ones that that seem unlisted in their list of references. One reason may be to handle the growth of popularity of exonumia and the dearth of references.
In support of this, I've been seeing PCGS slab more exonumia that I haven't been able to find in their listed references lately. I've been thinking of calling in and sending some medals that aren't listed in their references but are related to the ones I've seen them grade. Here are some:
Heraldic Art Medals: there are some references for these medals by Robert McNamara including William Swoger's "Heraldic Art Medals" (http://heraldicartmedals.com/) but these aren't listed in the PCGS list.
PCGS now slabs Heraldic Art So-Called Half Dollars!
So-Called Dollars: there are a lot of medals that appear to qualify as So-Called Dollars but are unlisted in the main HK reference (as well as Shevlin's books). One reason for this is that the HK reference could use some more updates.
Thanks to PCGS for slabbing HK Unlisted So-Called Dollars!
ANA Medals: there are some references for these but they are not listed in the PCGS list. These include: "Catalog of American Numismatic Association Convention Badges and Medals, 2006 Edition" by Charles R. Hosch and "A Catalogue of Convention Badges & Medals of the American Numismatic Association 1908-1968" by N. Neil Harris.

It comes down to the toning, PCGS approval and TrueView. Nicely toned medals certified by PCGS sell for much more than more common medals. I just saw a set of four nicely toned, PCGS slabbed and TrueViewed Hans Erni medals sell for $1,000.00 each. These normally sell for $100.00 each when untoned and unslabbed.
Yes, it is all about the toning. Here are a couple more pix of some toning on these

These look great. I agree it would be awesome for PCGS to grade these and see these as TrueViews.
Very nice stuff. I would try if not sometimes across the street will if they don't here, Nice save.
Hoard the keys.
