Mine is about 15% of my collections value, a few most between 5-8% and then a big long tail in the 1-2%
Latin American Collection
Now, or when I bought it?
You should also add a <5% category.
I tried to amend to include that but doesn't look like I can amend the poll...
Latin American Collection
That's a moving target for me.
I have a comfort level that's hard to pass on any one coin, but over the years I've been adding so the % is less all the time.
Last year my answer would have been between 10-20. Now it's slightly over 5%.
A moving target for sure.
The one I paid the most is less than 5%
The one that's worth the most is 10-20%

Had to put over 50% right now because I only have one coin, so really it’s 100% of my value is in my most expensive coin.
115%

My best coin represents slightly less that 2% of the value of my entire collection, but I have six coins of that type that are almost the same. All housed in PCGS slabs, to give me reassurance about authenticity.
<5% for me. Sheesh

I’m in the less than 5% category.
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

Math is too complicated for me - sorry.
A followup question: what coin in your collection do you look at the most? Is it your most expensive?
No but not far off
Latin American Collection
I am right around 5% but that percentage will soon drop to well under 5%.

Less than 5%. My favorite isn’t my most valuable but it’s in the top 5
This should probably be a private poll.

Boosibri, great question. Have to think about it. That said; I think you are a natural born gambler. Good for you! That's where the money is. Or isn't. You'll do o.k.
Hard to say.... just a guess... I have several in an upper price range (not million$)....so picking one, well - probably a good guess. Cheers, RickO

It's the last one I'll forget to check whether it is private or not.

I voted >50%, but that's because I only have 4 coins at the moment.

meant to make it private but oh well...
Latin American Collection
Probably less than 2%, I got a lot of cheap coins.

less than 1%

In the poll I'm referring to something other than coins. For the coins, probably 5 to 10% (more quantity there)

10-20% and getting smaller every year because my collection keeps growing -- it seems uncontrollably!
