    Yea, I am really on the outs with Photobucket. Some coin blogs refuse to take photos from them. I'd love to find another hosting site.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Photobucket has a huge negative effect on people.
    Continuing to use it almost shouts that one doesn't care if anyone sees the image. :|

    These were relatively common commercial items in the 19th century. Most were assembled from "kits" of precut parts often made of reused lumber and crating. Few were real "hand artisan made" products. A fully hand-made coin cabinet of superior quality by an expert craftsman would sell today for $10,000 or more.
