Thinkin' about picking off a fly on a moose at 500 yards?
No. I just like the stock. I have several like it in various grades of claro walnut on several different rifles. I'd like a scope good enough to aim between two hairs.
I've given up on the big ticket items in this current climate of colored beans and exploding upgrades, so inexpensive pieces are satisfying my cravings now

Looks amazing and very satisfying! Love the color and slab!
I’ve been buying myself gifts once or twice a month for a long while now. Better cool it for a while and start giving to others now that Christmas is upon us.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
Nothing big, but I just bought one of these from the US Mint for $40. My grandfather was born in the Philippines in 1906, joined the US Navy in 1928, and served for 32 years. After WWII, all Filipino servicemen could emigrate from the Philippines to the mainland US with their families, and he later served at Pearl Harbor and in the Pentagon. The most amazing thing about that journey is that Filipinos were limited to certain jobs such as cooks and stewards, and he got out as a Chief Petty Officer Steward (SDC), earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart in WWII, and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
My Christmas present was Andras Schiff playing all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas, complete with booklet explaining his interpretations. Of course there are always a few coins coming in and going out ...
I count among my greatest blessings good health, a good wife, two loving kitty cats, and no debt. Material things are really a distant second (or minor fifth). Happy Thanksgiving!

Commems and Early Type
I think an accessory for my EDC would be in order this year. Viridian has a very interesting product that could be extremely useful. Cheers, RickO

I'm only interested in putting a stock like that on one of my rifles. The company that makes the stock doesn't offer completed rifles.
I bought myself these two little widgets.
I got smoe coins too.
Nice 16-D Bajj
That sure would look good in my Roosie set!

My Christmas present just arrived:
Needs a new holder. Pretty ugly scratch on the plastic at left.

Looks like a JR9 R2. D/C from rim to A to Right of R in scroll.
Yup. First new Peace Buck in a while. I’m getting a little picky. In a PCGS MS66 CAC holder:
Yes, thats correct. NGC MS-65 holder (with a scratch on the holder).
You ARE the DIME man.

Very nice. You'll need a good bipod to make that shot.
Maybe a thanksgiving present...

That is a monster Gem late-series two cent piece, @Raybo, I can see why you are justifiably proud of it!

What do you think of this novice purchase? The seller said it's semi hard date and it looks beautiful so I went for it.

A couple of tiny items.
