As some of you know I banned myself of opening up any CAC threads for six months. The first night was tough as it was cold turkey .I had the sweats and dry heaves but my wife helped me make it through the night. I see several new threads popped up. I need to remain strong and sally forth

Maybe Day 2 should take a broad turn towards solidarity... I am not going to start, add or open any CAC related threads either. Not sure I have more to write on the subject anyway. It is time to move on and away from a subject that has been litigated and relitigated to the point of where it just does not bring out the best or illustrate coin collecting at its finest...

Agreed. He should call up Mr. McKnowItAll so CAC won't seem as distracting to him anymore... >:)

There is a new QA Check thread,,,, open it and get your fix and you still won't be cheating on your self imposed ban ;)

Maybe a picture of a Newp that's not even eligible for CAC might help?

I picked up this brass Libertas token/medal on EBay for $4. I need to get a better photo, but it is quite lustrous.

Holy cow, how did I miss this

Ouch, now I need to decide whether to create a new thread, wait for 6 months, or create one where you only know it's about CAC after opening it ;)

Good for you. I like CAC but the chatter around here is getting tiresome. I think I'll join you in your mission. Stay vigilant. Stay strong.

Should CAC be like Fight Club? ;)

Maybe the mods can automatically erase any thread title that contains those 3 consecutive letters, like it does with profanity.

Hang in there Mark, you can do it.

    Day 3

Not being able to open a Stewart Blay CAC thread is tantamount to waterboarding to me. I need a fix.

Oh no, please don't! I was going to start two new discussions when I had some free time to image some of my coins:

Where do you "cache" your coins?

Post your coins with a "cactus" in the design.

I don't usually post to a thread like this but I do find this one somewhat humorous. Of course it might just be the beer. :)

Still a fan of CAC but the threads have proven to thick for me to deal with.

    @Justacommeman

Need a little help please. I'm thinking of sending my first coin to CAC. It is in a PCGS 65 + holder and I'll settle for a CAC 65. Will the CAC sticker as a 65 make more sense than a 65+? What do you think?

I CACkle at the CAChet of those CACodyls with their CACophany of CAChexic slobber in every post.

After drinking 12 cervezas and 6 tortillas you'll be dreaming of opening cac threads but will fortunately be awoken by the thunder down under.
