Well Joe, what did this puppy grade? The coin world wants to know. ;)

Hey, are those hairlines on the cheek?

I very happy to say it graded out at a 66.
    Happy hunting, Joe

Holy Cow! Did you get it cheap? If it goes back in and get a plus, you are talking a 20 grand jump!

I need to send it into CAC but I'm not a member. So, not sure where I'm gonna go with it from here. I will enjoy it I'll tell you that :)

By the way, wabbit, thanks :) I bought this from a coin shop for a song >:) They should maybe look a little harder at the coins they sell.

    66 huh? No surprise.

The surprise is it was minted in Denver.

Here it is in all of it's plastic glory. Now I gotta get it CAC'ed but I'm not a member.
    What a dilemma I'm in now :'( .
I want to thank all of you guys and girls for all of the positive comments on this one. Now there is 19, 1916-d pcgs MS-66 buffalo nickels with only 2 ms-66+ buffs graded higher with the same date. I feel like I caught Moby Dick on a trout rod.
Thanks again to all and happy hunting, Joe

GREAT Catch Joe........ But you are over your limit now. You better sell some before the coin police catch up to you.

I really think it's deserving of a 66+. The light gold toning along with the hammered strike would be enough for me to give it the +. But I don't think they wanted to give you a nearly $20,000.00 bump on the first shot. :)

No this one is a business strike from Denver.
