I've been making an effort to load less than ginormous copies of photos...I like there isn't a size limit, but maybe a teensy bit of one would be okay. I also don't upload .png anymore either. I really noticed it when loading pictures to my website. With 20 or 30 photos on a page it really did slow things down. Now things are much more sensibly sized for a monitor/screen and can link to a larger photo without bogging down the page loading.
@SaorAlba -- I find it easier to upload directly here, right from my computer.
Are you trying to link? I know there is a bit of code stuff when linking to a collectivecoin shot (I just don't bother doing it that way anymore) and IIRC it was just a bit of a step to strip it down to a URL. PhotoBucket (which I have given up on completely) had an option for a direct URL link too. Don't give up! If you are using a different host let us know as someone computer/image savvy is bound to be able to say what the problem is.

Yep, photobucket is awful! If you have the photos on your (even elderly) hard drive it might be easier to upload to here directly. Photobucket downgraded the quality of most of my older photos...and I was pretty mad.

Picked up another lion just recently. Fresh newp. Kind of new territory for me, but the "Eclectic Box" needed something Islamic-flavored and was rather light on medieval stuff. Plus, the price was modest.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.
