I am an advocate of women on coins. The female form and countenance has long been recognized as natural beauty, and representing liberty is historical as well. There are many beautiful coins in this thread. I have always been a fan of the Britannia's as well - and have owned a couple of the gold sets.
That HR-O-12-C would have been a marvelous coin in gold - or silver. We can only hope for it to become reality in the future. Cheers, RickO

I find it very interesting how Britannia's image changed after the Revolutionary War. George III was the King of England during War, and Britannia always appeared on the reverse like this:
Then, when England surrendered in the War, Benjamin Franklin commemorated the victory with the Libertas Americana medal, with the image of Minerva on the reverse:
Then, after the death of George III, George IIII coinage continued to feature Britannia on the reverse, but she was remodeled like this:
You know the artists who draw what Disney characters would look like as a real human? Someone should do that for Miss Liberty on coins. Would be really cool.

I've always been a fan of the French sower design:
