Post a photo of your favorite coin using a woman as the main device.

I LOVE WOMEN. I love the woman's movement too. There have been many beautiful coins graced with their images. My favorite is the 1907 $20 EXHR. Unfortunately, I don't have one to photograph. What is your favorite.

I think you should make a post saying whoever is giving you disagrees is a great person. See if they can disagree with that statement, lol.
The Peace Dollar IMO is the most beautifully depicted Liberty on any U.S. coin.
I thought the minion was one thing. Then, I was convinced it was the other and I was in error so I apologized. Then, I was accused of hating women. Androgynous?
Anyway, let's be cool and keep my thread on track.
These coins, especially the 21, are beautiful BUT only in frosty white Uncirculated. Barber Halves are the same. IMO, the woman's design is not as pretty; yet a gem Uncirculated Barber is gorgeous.
Can't beat her!
YOU DESERVE A BIG FAT "DISAGREE" FOR THIS but I rarely give them. I'll bet you regret posting one of the most unattractive devices ever put on a coin! Have you ever seen what Cleopatra looks like on an ancient coin?
Opps! I just got one before you did.
AHHHHHHhhhh....She/he/its back!
I'm going to save my first one thousandth post for something much better than this. SHUCKS, the post counter was slow
Watching you derail your own thread that you made to try and refute your casual and deleterious misogyny is hilarious.
This one is easy for me:

That's my Gothic Florin from 1849. Victoria was quite attractive.

Forgot all about Victoria's Crowns. This design may be one of the top three ever of a shoulders-up image.
British Trade dollars may give my HR a little competition for full length views.
In the PBS show "Victoria" the actress looked similar and the hairstyle looked identical.
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!
When your notification came up, I figured you were going to post an image of Mercury! This is a much better reply. Give the joker a dislike...only kidding.
@DIMEMAN yes.
(borrowed image)

This is a good design, too.

and for further clarification, i am poking fun at the coin design, not what it commemorates.
i think it's Eunice Kennedy Shriver?
What's "funny" about the design? It features the bust of the founder of the Special Olympics and was the first US coin to feature a living woman.
I don't see anything to poke fun at.
Love this design:

And this is the coin that COULD have been a high relief gold. Wowzers:
of course you don't
It is. It's a "joke" because she's an elderly woman they don't find attractive. Haha, funny, right?
Of course you do.

The only members who could have taken offense or even thought anything other than that are young, and propagandized into the political correct BS taught in our educational system. It is a darn shame you even thought you needed to add this comment here to CYA and appease the little idiots who spend their time trying to find an excuse to complain about something. On second thought, it may have been a really good idea as some of those folks may have joined CU.

it's a poorly executed, unattractive design.
More personal attacks in violation of forum rules.
@steveben
It looks like a lot was being said while I was composing/writing my post. I feel like a clairvoyant!

Britannia's, for the most part are beautiful coins, I especially like the 2003 version, I just can't capture a good image of mine, so here is a stock image from APMEX;

Well, I guess. I don't see what the fuss is. The pic shows EKS from another view, same hairstyle, etc. No big deal. It's the way it was. Not sure about jokes, appearances, etc.
And here is another one of my fave females ... HT-335, Ezra B. Sweet, New York, Ex-JJF:

The Plat proofs have had some remarkable depictions of Lady Liberty in recent years. Here are three I've particularly liked:

That's a great quote. It's fitting when reversed also.
Thanks for posting, I've never seen any of these three coins before - either an image or the actual coin. We still have some artists producing our coins. Do you know if these were done by mint engravers or outside contractors in a contest?
Just opened a Redbook to see some of the other designs I missed.
Very few women on early US commemorative coinage. Strange considering women cover virtually all other US coinage.
Missed out on this one, really like it.
