The magenta to yellow in the 1936 is wrong and the blue is far too strong for a 1936 business strike. My guess it was shined, or a very shiny coin, when it got doctored. At least they tried. They overdid the obverse.

Qualified graders beg to differ.
Bright purple is best avoided. You might see a more subtle purple on some PF copper, though.

Could be AT...... also could be NT due to storage environment....Remember, most here consider that AT must have 'intent'....

I do not believe the top tier TPGs would find that market acceptable. But maybe if the moon is full, the temperature is exactly 85, the wind is blowing from the SSW, the receptionist called in sick, and the grader has a hangover it just might find its way into a holder.

There were no indian cents minted in 1918 I believe.
Interestingly enough though, 1918 marked the year Brenner's VDB returned, but this time on Lincoln's shoulder.
It has that "left in pants pocket and went through the clothes washer" look.
So, if it went through accidently then it is NT. If it went though on purpose then AT. Just have to determine intent, maybe with a pair of dice.

Is anyone else overconcerned about that rich carbon spot right below the left side of the date? Maybe it's not there if you take a picture straight-on but right now I'd worry it might come back as real color but in an altered holdered because of inviormental issues.
That's what frightens me. It's not there and then is there. Carbon can be a beast to recognize and then remove.
It's like one of those hologram stickers where if you change the angle, the date changes too! It's an easier way to finish a series without having to buy so many pesky coins.

And FWIW, carbon spots are hardly difficult to recognize. And they're impossible to remove.

I bought the 36' as is just because I liked the color and from two local B&M's one said AT and the other NT which is why I threw it up . I'll try to get the non glamour shot as you call it CoinsAndMoreCoins .

But I would not definitely say the OP's coin would not grade. I have submitted better that graded Questionable Color code .91, but the color does not seem correct to me.
I am really glad that I do not have grade these coins becsuse I have missed some obvious flaws, while impressed with color.

I agree with the AT crowd.
Shake and bake treatment. 275° in conventional oven for 45 min.... add your favorite chemicals, flip over, add same chemicals on top of other side and bake another 20 min.
