I just got my first one..think i might be hooked. Trying to figure out the grading on this one and what put it at a 64. Im a newbie so I am learning.

Hard to pick my favorite, but I got it down to these two. The reverse crescent is SUPER vibrant in hand and the color is electrified in the light.
The 64+PL has really thick color, and a DMPL reverse. Going to send both of these in for True views at the next show.4 -
Here is my only toned Morgan dollar, although a couple of "experts" tell it's not a toner. You could fool me.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?1 -

I have quite a few and like them all, but as a lover of green, this is probably my favorite on the color scale. Didn't hurt that it was nearly black in the photo and I got it for a song

Correct; it is made of niobium. It is anodized to create the color (I guess one can call it AT
).
As mentioned it is made by the Penny Press Mint and has a mintage of 42.0 -
