Looks AU to me before considering that it's a 1901. Hairlines in the fields, softness on hair and eagle. Also, you're never going to get the benefit of the doubt on a 1901 (or 84-S or 92-S, etc).
The appears to have a dull spot, indicative of a rub, on Ms. Liberty's cheek.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
AU, but a damn nice AU. The color change is barely perceptible near the tip of Liberty's bust, and there seems to be very light wear elsewhere, too. TPGs will look long and hard before assigning a MS grade to a 1901,

The hair above the ear and eagle's breast tell me AU, and it's not an O mint.

I think it is MS61, shot 62. There's no doubt it's much nicer than the 01-P I submitted last year, which graded AU58.
I see several little things that look AU that I guess the majority also see.
A nice AU....but I have little doubt it is AU.
What happened with round 1? what were the results?
From the pics, my first inclination is AU. A lustrous AU, but still AU.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Too much disturbance in the fields otherwise unc
No cigar... The 1901 Morgan had consistency issues in terms of strike and quality. While this is high end AU, it misses the mark.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
AU.
Clearly AU..... Cheers, RickO
Unc unless I submit it. In that case, "genuine"

Going off of pics I see slight discoloration from rub and tpg's won't give an 01p an unc grade unless they're darn sure of it. Nice coin though
