Manny, if you take something else down the road can you throw the Griffey rack up. That has Jeffries too and would have been an awesome find as a twelve year old.

pjb, that's a nice upgrade adding in another box, are those BBCE authenticated? If so it will entice some people to jump on this.

Nice lots. Not sure what it takes.

Feeling this may have run it's course.

Since Manny started it, I'm thinking he should choose a lot to close it out and put a bow on this thread.

i guess this is where i step aside...in the spirit of "pay it forward", id like to offer all 3 lots(bench rc, 81 opc wax pack, 3 basketball boxes, and puckett rc auto) to manny...it appears this thread has died, and as jim mentioned the other day, this would be a great way to close it out(and i can finally get that 75 mini pack from steve lol)....manny, just let me know what you would like to do, and thank you for the great effort put into this thread...seems the participation around here has been dwindling as of lately...group rip(and actually open the material) anyone?

1 Lasorda RC PSA 6 and Ozzie PSA 8 and Oliva PSA 8

    or #2
    Trout RC BGS 9.5 pair

3 this is a Clemente oddball lot. The 1971 Fleer world series is a low pop short print.

Looking back on this old thread for giggles, I'll take the Trout pair! Crazy to think it wasn't even taken initially as the lot sells for around 1k today!

    Not crazy at all!

Some collectors collect what they love and others speculate.

I took the Lasorda, Ozzie, and Oliva as I needed all 3 for sets and didn't need the Trouts as I picked up enough of them during his climb in 2013/2014.

Values be damned - collect what you love!
