Eye appeal is kinda blah to me, however those surfaces are truly amazing.

Do what everybody does... make an offer of about 40% of the asking price ( which when calculated to the Cents level proves its just a grasp at hope)

Send me $4000 in coins to hold until you pay me back and I'll lend you the money at a reasonable interest rate.

Great idea Boosbri. I didn't know when had lenders here. Probably a better deal then my credit card. I'll keep it in mind if I ever find something I really need on the spot.
  • It's cheaper on their website and they offer a no interest payment plan or use PayPal credit but I'm thinking he doesn't want to borrow just daydreaming.

To me your coin is much more appealing, not that Im a huge fan of white coins. Yours just looks to have more luster and a nice bit of original color.

I can't see the ebay version, but on your commem above, the dark tone/tarnish on the right side (3 o'clock) would be a "pass" for me.

The eBay seller will take $2000. The 12 year price history for this coin is flat to slightly down.

    Your coin is beautiful.

Not a fan of the eBay coin and he is all wet with that asking price!

I'd hold on to what you have. Eye appeal is king. There are nicer ones with the look in the OP.

i like the ebay coin, but the one you have is also nice. perhaps you should hold out longer for a more impressive example at that price.

The Pinnacle coin looks beautiful. I prefer its rim toning over white examples, especially on this commem's design.

I agree. No comment on the asking price.

They will insist on an in hand look - see of the OP's coin before offering terms. Not saying this is good or bad - just know how they operate. The OP would be better off to establish approval service, and then make an effort to obtain an offer for his coin if he decided that he could not let the Pinnacle coin get away. I sense that since the OP has already asked for others input as to which coin is superior, that this isn't a worthwhile endeavor.

This isn't a problem where bathrooms are concerned is it???

I love mine too much, plus it has a lot of sentimental value. How I got it was damn near a miracle.

It's okay, but I'd be just as happy with the white one I have in MS-64 for a lot less money.
