MCM, Coin Fame and other buyers take on considerable risk in buying up these issues at a premium to the issue price. The sellers get a locked in easy profit with no risk. Least we forget that these issues can be losers - like the infamous Gold Kennedy. Yes, the buyers can make money - its what they are trying to do by taking the time to buy small quantities from multiple sellers, tie up their capital, pay grading fees and by the time its done get enough 70's to make a profit - often taking 6 months to a even a year to get all of their money. As far as "fooling" anyone, I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong - nothing wrong with buying some with the intent to sell boxes in hand - but for people who just want a quick no risk profit, $425 sounds OK to me!

I can remember the 2011 Silver Anniv set being bought at the time ,from forum members... by large dealer .They paid with small profits to sellers ,saying that was all the market could afford .. only to sell sets many times for 10x- up to 13x what they payed ..same for the 2006 Anniv sets . I have seen people get low balled at coin shows , B&Ms. . so I guess in their world they are happy There is next to no risk now for Mint products ,,, because free money is overflowing the other 2015 sets will be just as popular as the Native Indian coin was an easy winner . With the big dealers in the know .. they have info the public may not have .. so ponying a price premium before set issue is a no brainer low risk ,winner Tuesday .
The Gold Kennedy performed poorly ,maybe because the odd 3/4 oz weight and most definitely ,the ANA bus dealers squeeze fiasco

Yeah....just something I wouldn't really do. That said, they do have addresses, names, and credit card numbers from customers anyway....so only thing new would be using it on a 3rd party site "on behalf" on their customer.
On the MCM side, it takes flakiness out of the picture (flakiness from the customer who may get busy, have something else going on, forgets, etc). They also manipulate where it is sent to so they take out additional shipping costs/time from the equation. Takes out other variables that would impact them getting in, and out, quickly.

I get why using peoples identities is beneficial to them but to be so open about it is ballsy. Mint might want to think about matching on IPs too, to stop greedy jokers like this.
Mine was in first few seconds as well (no hesitation on the system this time) and also in the earlier 03354xxx period.
These were pre-sold almost 2 weeks ago as not something I collect. Wasn't even going to get them to flip (2 weeks ago) until I saw someone I like requesting help getting some extras.
