Laugh? I would never laugh at the amount of money someone made for what they do. I think I would only laugh if they told me "I hate every minute of my job, but I make a lot of money!"

You make a lot more than me, jm. I too am self-employed. I am a musician/singer/songwriter. And it's a feast or famine life. But, I like it (most nights) yes, I do.

Own and operate a real estate company. Before you ask - everyone thinks that there is so much money in real estate - there isn't. It's a very small profit margin deal.

I also own and operate several income producing websites which I won't advertise here for fear of extreme retribution from the members that like to do that sort of thing.

I do a few other profit producing things but I have really come to love getting those small packages in the mail that have PCGS on the return adress or ANACS. I always open them with a sort of giddy excitement.

I collect houses. I look them over really well and grade them. I only buy if they look nice and I like them. I hate to tell but I sometimes clean them. It's getting hard to hide them from the wife. She will catch me one of these days. She just thinks I buy coins.
