Coin Pairings (Post yours)

I am a believer in coin pairings. For example, I have a fabulous 1848-C $2.5 and $5. Individually they are very cool as part of either a $2.5 or $5 Charlotte set, or as an inclusion into a broad set of rare gold. When paired together I find them to be a mini-collection of their own which is both relevant and special in its own way. Do you have similar pairings?

1793 Half Cent, C-2 ... the style of the die work looks to be the same, so I'd say that the artwork was done by the same person ...
Both coins were issued in mid summer, 1793 ...
<< <i>Two great coins , however the coins look completely different to my ole eyes, so I say different people's artwork. >>
Check out the lettering and style of the artwork on the reverses. Maybe it's more obvious when you see the coins live, but it jumped out at me when I compared the coins side by side, RAW. years ago.
this one about as original as they come.

They're good examples of just how far the early Mint pushed dies before retiring them.

Hoping to one day get an 1828 12-Star half-cent to pair with my 13-Star. That would make an interesting pair.
<< <i>My favorite pair. Being raised in York County, Maine; I wanted toned examples of both of these. They're nice examples to remind me of Maine while I am at school in Florida. Both old holders and both gold cacd.

These are fantastic and I want 'em!!!

I know I am known as a Dahlonega collector but I also have a Commem collection too. The Maine and York pair are very attractive coins.

Edited to remove a couple of photos.
I got no pics to add to it, but enjoy looking at everyone else's bling.
The most undervalued 1840's or 50's QE $2.5 and the most undervalued No Motto $5 (and a second 42 $5 LL just because I really like the date)
