  So tell me this .. How is the original bidder (zero feedback) who bid today, 1/13 now no longer a registered user? I know it was likely a shill bid etc etc .. But what's the purpose or reasoning of the account being "deactivated" by the "Beijingite"?

  I'm sure when Judith gets back to work on Monday, she'll remove the item and than NARU the seller. Fortunately, these counterfeits are easy to spot......but, I've been seeing better ones lately mostly in the Morgan Dollar design.

  A guy showed up at my local club a couple of years ago with one of these 1796 "dollars" with the Bust too far to the left. He had bought it off the Internet for $200. He got pi$$ed at me when I told him it wasn't real.
  
  I tried to explain to him that there are few sellers out there who sell $7,000 coins for $200, but he was not convinced.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
